West Michigan Community Chorale is committed to bringing the choral arts and excellence in music to all of West Michigan. In order to do that, we need your help!
Each WMCC member pays annual dues, which help to defray most of the Chorale’s operating costs. The Chorale also maintains a fund to assist those who want to join the Chorale but are unable to afford the dues. Donations from the community can go directly to this fund and will make a huge difference, as well as assist with larger WMCC costs, such as the purchase of sheet music and equipment.
Concert Donations
The Christmas and Spring concerts are presented free-of-charge to the public. However, the WMCC collects donations at the conclusion of these performances. Part of the proceeds are used to assist with the operating costs of the concert venue, the Jenison Center for the Arts. In addition, we also give a portion of the collected funds each year to a different non-profit community organization, one that is selected annually by the WMCC Board.
Donations to WMCC, in any amount, are always greatly appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) organization; as such, all donors will be given a tax receipt.
