West Michigan Community Chorale welcomes the opportunity to partner with community businesses to further our mission of enriching our community through choral music. We believe that a community that is rich in the arts is the best place to live, do business, and raise families. To do our part in providing more access to choral music, we need to be able to pay for accompanists, purchase equipment (uniforms, risers, music), and pay for printing expenses. Our choir members pay dues to help meet these costs and we also actively seek grant opportunities. Your support can help us share music in places where most choirs don’t go, such as nursing homes, baseball games, and community events. We appreciate the support and financial assistance of the West Michigan community.
As a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization, we are happy to provide documentation of your donation that can be used for tax purposes. All donors will be recognized on the program at each of our concerts.

Individual Donors and Sponsors
West Michigan Community Chorale is committed to bringing the choral arts and excellence in music to all of the West Michigan area. In order to do that, we need your help. Each choir member pays dues to help defray most of the costs that the choir incurs.
In addition to raising money for larger purchases, the choir maintains a fund to assist those individuals in the community who want to sing with the choir but are financially unable to pay dues. This is where donations from people in the community can make a huge difference.
Music Makers Fund
The Music Makers Fund was created to help build a music library for the West Michigan Community Chorale. As a relatively new choir, WMCC has been borrowing music from local high school choral programs who have been very generous to us. A WMCC music library represents an opportunity for us to present a diverse repertoire of music to the community and a legacy for future choir members.
As one of the largest expenses faced by new choirs, a set of music for a choir of our size typically costs between $150-200. Your donation will make it possible for us to present a variety of music composers and musical styles to the West Michigan community. Your gift will be a permanent part of the choir as we like to revisit favorites in our repertoire. Through your generosity, the gift of music will delight and inspire audiences in our community for years to come.
Donations of any amount are welcome and individuals who donate to this fund will be recognized in our concert program as contributors to the Music Makers Fund for the WMCC Music Library. WMCC is a 501(c)(3) certified organization and we will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
